4 Week Online Mindfulness Course

This short course is for anyone who feels like they need a little bit of space and would like to reconnect with themselves. The 4 week course will cover:

- an introduction to mindfulness

- autopilot and how to come back to the now

- body awareness and the body scan

- gratitude practice

- the brain and how we think

- self compassion practice

and will include notes and recorded meditations. The course is for 1 hour a week and is suitable for beginners. Payment via Paypal or Revolut 2 days prior to beginning the course.

I am a mindfulness & positive psychology teacher who studied at the Irish Mindfulness Academy. I completed my 500 hour Diploma is Mindfulness & Positive Psychology training in 2020 and now teach mindfulness classes online. My work includes aspects of MBSR and MBCT programs, alongside more recent research in both mindfulness and positive psychology. 

I am also an accredited Creative Mindfulness for Kids Practitioner and am qualified to teach preschoolers and primary school children. This course teaches kids mindfulness through an array of creative activities with the aim to cultivate self compassion, awareness and emotional literacy from a young age. I am currently studying an additional course for teenagers. I believe that on going practice and training is so important for any teacher - especially mindfulness as new research and studies are being published regularly. 

I am a yoga teacher (200HR) which embodies a lot of the same principles and teachings as mindfulness but through the practice of asanas. This training has helped me to cultivate more bodily awareness and has made me a better teacher. I am also a qualified massage therapist (ITEC Level 2). 

I have been interested in meditation and mindfulness for over 10 years. My interest in teaching was sparked by the positive impact of my own mindfulness practice on both my health and quality of life.
